If you recently experienced a major power surge in your home, or if you have a large number of devices connected to an AC outlet that shares a circuit breaker with a large number of other devices, try resetting that circuit breaker in case it was tripped. Press the power button on the top of your sound bar or on the remote control. If using a remote, try moving closer to the device and ensuring that there are no objects between you and the front of the soundbar. Check the power cord for damage. Replace the cable if it has cuts or other forms of physical damage. Check to ensure the power cord is securely connected to the electrical outlet and on the back of your sound bar and subwoofer. Make sure all the power LEDs on the power adapters are glowing green. Verify that the electrical outlet is working correctly. Plug a different device into the outlet to confirm.
Vizio Soundbar Lights Flashing Up and Down
When you increase the volume on the soundbar, the number of lit blue bars increases. When you decrease the volume on the soundbar, the number of lit blue bars decreases. When the volume is muted, the blue bars flash.
Vizio Soundbar Blinking with No Sound
If the soundbar is blinking with no sound, it is because it is not connected to a source device. You can connect the source device via Bluetooth or wired connections. If there is still no sound even after successfully connecting the soundbar to a TV or other source device, try out the following to fix the problem:
Press Volume Up on the remote control to increase the volume. You can also use the volume button on the top of your soundbar. Press MUTE on the remote to ensure the soundbar is not muted. Press INPUT on your remote or on the top of the sound bar to choose a different input source. If there is no audio when using either of the digital inputs, try setting the TV output to PCM. If this doesn’t work, try connecting directly to your Blu-ray/other source, some TVs don’t pass through digital audio. Confirm that the audio output setting in your TV is set to FIXED or STANDARD. It may be set to VARIABLE audio output which shouldn’t be the case. If you are using Bluetooth, make sure the volume on your source device is turned up and that the device is not muted.
If there is no sound from satellite speakers the wires may have come loose during shipment or on setup. Try to remove and re-insert the wires, or change the wires by following these steps:
Remove the back panel cover from the back of the satellite speakers. Carefully pull on the plug containing the speaker wires to remove unplug it from the speaker. Loosen the screws in the plug and remove the speaker wire. If you have to change the speaker wire, you can insert your own bare wire cables into the plug. Make sure you correctly match left and right. Tighten the screws in the plug. Securely re-insert the plug containing the speaker wires.
If still there is no sound from the satellite speakers, the soundbar may be in SRS WOW HD mode. If the light under the SRS logo is orange, SRS WOW HD mode is on. Press the SRS TSHD button on the remote to turn it off.
Vizio Soundbar Bluetooth Pairing Not Working

How to Do a Vizio Soundbar Firmware Update
When there is a new Vizio soundbar firmware update, your soundbar will automatically download it for you.
