One of those experiments saw him cloning two sons out of his DNA named Log and Mitsuki. His sons grew up to be independent-minded and strong, and he often disagreed with them, especially the younger one named Mitsuki. He, however, remained on good terms and often helped them out when they were in danger.
Orochimaru’s Sons (Log and Mitsuki) Were Cloned Through His DNA
Although he later turned into a good guy in the Redemption Arc, Orochimaru was one of the most feared villains in the Naruto universe as a result of his ninja skills and his intelligence. His intelligence led him to conduct several experiments on how to gain immortality and cure the body of injuries. He was also able to clone two sons out of his DNA, namely Log and Mitsuki. Orochimaru used the same embryo to create both sons. They developed in a test tube until they reached a stage when they could survive on their own. Orochimaru created his sons to be perfect physical specimens. They could fend off injuries and infections better than the average human being. Orochimaru cared for his sons during their childhood but allowed them to follow their own path as they grew up. He, however, never failed to help them out when they were in a bind.
Who is Orochimaru’s Eldest Son, Log?
Log is the eldest son of Orochimaru. He is an artificial being that his father cloned through a test tube. He is described as a tall fellow with golden eyes and dull blue shoulder-length hair. He wears a long hooded dark grey cloak and carries a sword vertically across his back. Log is one of the minor characters in the Naruto-Boruto franchise and has not witnessed much frontline action. Fans, however, hope and predict that this will change.
Log is a Highly Skilled Swordsman and Armor Eater
Log is not necessarily renowned as a powerful ninja or shinobi, but he is able to stand his own during physical combat. He is highly skilled with the sword, an ability known as kenjutsu. He is also an armor eater. His armor can’t be easily pierced. He can also melt it into pieces of black liquid that can be used to entrap an enemy.
He Has a Close Relationship with his Younger Brother, Mitsuki
Log loves his younger brother, Mitsuki, and often discusses with their father the direction that he (Mitsuki) is taking. He has also come to his brother’s rescue when needed. For instance, in episodes 157-175 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime, Mitsuki uses an advanced skill known as Sage Transformation to save his Konoha teammates from harm. This leaves him seriously injured as his body breaks down. He is brought back to his father and brother for treatment. While the duo seeks solutions, Mitsuki is determined to head back to battle. This forces Log to sedate him. Log also later agrees to give some of his body organs to Mitsuki so that he can go back to help his teammate. Another example of Log’s care for his younger brother is seen in episodes 71 to 92 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime, known as Mitsuki’s disappearance arch. Mitsuki embarks on a battle against advanced artificial human beings named Fabrications, and though he triumphs, he loses a much-beloved ally named Ōnoki. The memories are too painful for him to deal with and his father suggests erasing them. Log, however, disputes this, and Mitsuki agrees with him.
Who is Orochimaru’s Son, Mitsuki?
Mitsuki is the second son of Orochimaru. Just like his father, he is highly skilled and grows up to be a powerful shinobi or ninja. He belongs to the Konoha team alongside the likes of Boruto (Naruto’s son) and Sarada Uchiha and helps his teams win many battles. Mitsuki made his first appearance in the 2015 Naruto spin-off manga, Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring. His further appearances come in the 2015 film, Boruto: Naruto the Movie, and the 2016 manga, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Mitsuki’s backstory is also explored in 2016’s Naruto Gaiden: The Road Illuminated by the Full Moon. Mitsuki is not a real human being but is as an artificial human being that his father cloned in the labs. He has an elder brother named Log, with whom he is quite close.
Mitsuki is a Highly Skilled Ninja and a Member of Team 7 Alongside Boruto
Mitsuki spent the first few years of his life living in Otogakure, a ninja village founded by his father. However, as he got closer to his early teens, his father and elder brother concocted a complex plot to push him to seek his own path in life. He, therefore, leaves Otogakure and makes his way to Konohagakure, which is where his father grew up. In Konohagakure, he joins the ninja academy. At the ninja academy, Mitsuki excels in both academics and his ninja skills. He also becomes close friends with Boruto. He and Boruto are paired up with the likes of Konohamaru and Sarad to form Team 7. Team 7 embarks on several battles to save their village, and Mitsuki uses his extensive skill set to help them when things get difficult. He stays true to his team, and although it seems as if he betrayed them during a battle against the fabrications, it turns out that he is still very much on their side.
Mitsuki Inherited Several of his Father’s Impressive Ninja Skills
Being a clone of his dad, Mitsuki inherited several abilities from his dad. He is an exceptional warrior and is tipped to become even more powerful than his dad, who belongs to the legendary Sannin (Sannin are the three renowned ninjas from Konohagakure hailed as the greatest of their time). He also has Ninjutsu and Senjutsu abilities. Mitsuki can also summon snakes. He can use them to send messages, find an enemy through scent, etc. Mitsuki also has a physically perfect body. He can recover from injuries in no time. He can also fend off infections much better than the average human being, just like his dad.
A Look at Mitsuki’s Relationship with His Father – Orochimaru
Mitsuki does not have the smoothest of relationships with his dad, Orochimaru, but they nevertheless care for each other. His father takes decisions in his best interest and also remains a constant source of help for him as he seeks his own path in life. For instance, Orochimaru allowed Mitsuki to go to Konoha for ninja training and remain there despite the fact that he, Orochimaru, had enemies there. He also made effort to visit his son there at great risk to himself. Orochimaru also gave his son practical tips to help him, tasking the young child to downplay his skills so that questions would not be asked about his origin and background. Additionally, when Mitsuki suffered severe bodily damage during the disappearance arch, it was his father that treated him and nursed him back to wealth. In return for all this, Mitsuki loved his father and boasted to his classmates about how powerful his father was.
