Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC, coupled with ARM G77 MC9 GPU and 12GB of RAM keep this device ticking. In the optics department, the OPPO Reno 5 Pro 5G has four rear cameras, with a 64MP main sensor heading this setup. This shooter is assisted by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP portrait sensor. Up front, a 32MP sensor takes care of video calls and selfies.
This smartphone provides 256GB of memory that cannot be expanded and has a 4,350mAh battery (charges at 65W) that keeps this smartphone powered. It measures 159.7×73.2×7.66mm and weighs a decent 173 grams. It is priced at CNY 3,399 ($519) for its 8GB+128GB model and CNY 3,799 ($580) for the 12GB+256GB variant. The OPPO Reno 5 Pro 5G launched with three different color options and should be available for purchase from the 18th of December.
OPPO Reno 5 5G
The dual-SIM (Nano) Reno 5 5G runs the Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top. It brings a slightly smaller display to the fore, with a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has the Snapdragon 765G SoC hooked to a 12GB RAM and is paired with the Adreno 620 GPU. In terms of photography, this device shares the same camera configuration as the Reno 5 Pro 5G, with four cameras lining the back panel and a 32MP front sensor taking care of video calls. It comes with 256GB of onboard storage and has a 4,300mAh battery. It measures 159.1×73.4×7.9mm and weighs a decent 172 grams. It is priced at CNY 2,699 ($412) for its 8GB+128GB model and CNY 2,999 ($458) for the 12GB+256GB variant. Both smartphones are up for pre-order in China and should start shipping from the 18th of December. As at the time of this article, there is no word from OPPO concerning the time these smartphones will get to the international market. References
