Apple’s pioneer over-ear headphones are tipped to deliver high-fidelity audio. The earcups of this accessory have an “acoustically optimized” net around the magnetically attached cushions. The company says that the combination of this material provides a better noise-cancelling experience for users.
The Apple AirPods Max are also fitted with custom dynamic drivers and a proprietary H1 chip. These headphones are also built with nine microphones, with eight of them assisting the active noise cancellation feature, helping users block noise from various directions. These headphones also possess spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, this means it uses gyroscope and accelerometer sensors to track users head movement, using the feedback to optimize sound in real time. It also has a rather intuitive feature that uses optical and position sensors to pause the sound when one or both earcups are removed. The Apple AirPods Max launched with a digital crown situated on the right earcup. This helps users play/pause/skip tracks, regulate the audio volume and activate Siri. Apple claims that this pair of headphones can deliver up to 20 hours of listening time on a single charge. The AirPods Max is priced at a rather expensive $549 in the U.S, with a €600 price tag slapped on this accessory in Europe. References
